Metrics and Opportunity score

Every keyword, weighed the same way.

Each result shows search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC, intent, a 12-month trend and SERP features. The Opportunity score turns them into one number you can sort by.

Demand
Search volume, on a scale that rewards bigger markets without letting them drown out everything else.
Ease
Keyword difficulty, inverted: the easier the keyword, the higher it scores.
Intent
Transactional and commercial keywords count for more than informational or navigational ones.
AI Overview adjustment
The score is lowered when Google shows an AI Overview on the results page. It is a fixed formula, not AI.

Topics

A long list, grouped into topics.

Serpify groups the keywords in every search into topics automatically, so you can work through a few hundred results one theme at a time.

Grouped by shared words
Keywords that share their distinctive words, or that the data provider marks as close variants, land in the same topic.
Named after the leader
Each topic takes the name of its highest-volume keyword, so you know what it covers at a glance.
One click to focus
The largest topics appear as filters above the results. Pick one to see only its keywords.

Filters

Cut a few hundred results down to the ones that fit.

Focus on one of the largest topics in the search.

  • Sort

Order by keyword, volume, AI volume, difficulty, CPC or Opportunity score.

  • Select

Tick keywords on a page, or select every keyword that matches your filters.

AI Overviews

See where AI already answers, and where people ask it.

Every result shows whether its Google results page includes an AI Overview, and the summary tells you what share of the search has one.

A badge on every result whose Google results page shows an AI Overview.
Filter by it

Built into the score
The Opportunity score is lowered for keywords with an AI Overview.

Competitor discovery
Domains that rank for the same keywords as you, with the number of keywords you share. One research credit per lookup.

FAQ

Keyword Research, answered.

What types of keyword research can I run?
Three. Ideas finds keywords in the same topic from up to 20 seeds and returns up to 700 keywords. Suggestions finds longer phrases that contain one seed, up to 700. Related returns what Google shows as related searches for one seed, up to 500.
What metrics does Serpify show?
Search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC, the main search intent, a 12-month trend, SERP features including whether a Google AI Overview appears, and an Opportunity score. For the top 100 keywords by volume in each search, it also shows AI search volume where it is available for the market.
How does the Opportunity score work?
It is a 0–100 score from a fixed formula. It combines demand (from search volume), ease (from keyword difficulty) and the keyword’s intent, and lowers the score when an AI Overview appears on the results page. It is not generated by AI.
Are topic groups AI-generated?
No. Keywords are grouped automatically by the words they share, together with keywords the data provider marks as close variants. Each topic is named after its highest-volume keyword, and the largest topics appear as filters.
Does Serpify show AI Overviews?
Yes. Each result shows whether the keyword’s Google results page includes an AI Overview, the summary shows the share of results that have one, and you can filter by it.
Can I send keywords directly into Rank Tracker?
Yes. Select keywords, choose a project and devices (desktop, mobile or both) and send up to 1,000 at a time. They are tracked in the project’s market, the first rankings arrive within a few minutes, and your plan’s keyword limit applies.
How do research credits work?
Each new search uses one research credit, and so does a keyword gap or a competitor discovery lookup. Reopening a saved search is free, running the same search again within 30 days reopens it without using another credit, and a lookup that fails uses no credit. Your monthly allowance depends on your plan.
Can I export keyword research?
Yes. Export a search to CSV with every keyword it returned, including search volume, keyword difficulty, CPC, intent, AI Overview, SERP features and Opportunity score.
What countries and languages are supported?
Research covers Google by country and language: 45+ countries and 24 languages.
How fresh is the keyword data?
Keyword data comes from DataForSEO Labs, which updates it periodically. Identical lookups may be served from a cache for up to 30 days, and every search keeps its results so you can reopen it later.

Find the keywords worth tracking, then track them.

Run a search, shortlist what fits, and send it to a Rank Tracker project. First rankings arrive within minutes.
