Reports & Alerts

Turn search and AI visibility into reports clients can use.

Send branded PDF reports on rankings, AI Overviews and AI assistant visibility every week or month, give clients a read-only link, and get a digest of alerts when rankings, AI Overview citations, AI mentions or AI readiness change.

  • Branded PDF reports
  • Weekly or monthly delivery
  • Read-only client links
  • Email, Slack and webhooks

Branded reports

Put your brand on the report.

Reports carry your agency name or logo, your accent colour and your footer. Serpify’s name doesn’t appear in the report itself. Set it once for the workspace and every project’s reports use it.

Preview, then download
See the report in the browser for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and download it as a PDF.
Past reports kept
Every PDF is stored as it was generated, for 180 days. The latest 20 are listed for each project.
A snapshot, not a moving target
A downloaded or emailed PDF doesn’t change later. The client link, by contrast, always shows current data.

What’s inside

One report, up to ten sections.

Every report uses the same clear template. Each schedule chooses which sections to include, and a section with no data simply leaves itself out.

  1. 01

    Summary

Visibility score, average position, keywords in the top 10 and AI Overview citations, each with its change over the period.

  2. 02

    Rankings

The daily visibility score, how your keywords are spread across positions, and the biggest movers up and down.

  3. 03

    AI Overviews

How many tracked keywords show a Google AI Overview, how many cite you, and the sites cited most.

  4. 04

    AI assistants

Mention rate, citation rate and AI share of voice, with the weekly mention rate for each engine.

  5. 05

    Search and AI traffic

Search Console clicks, impressions and CTR with their change, and GA4 visits from up to six AI assistants.

  6. 06

    Google Maps and Business Profile

Rating, reviews and profile completeness, with Maps and organic positions for your Maps keywords.

  7. 07

    Competitors

Visibility, top 10, average position and AI Overview citations beside yours, from the latest check.

  8. 08

    AI search readiness

The readiness score and its change, blocked AI crawlers, and the top fixes by points.

  9. 09

    Keyword cannibalization

Keywords where more than one of your pages competes, and how many were fixed in the period.

  10. 10

    Keyword table

Your top 50 keywords by position, with device, change, search volume and AI Overview status.

Schedules

Reports that arrive on their own.

Set a weekly or monthly schedule and the report is emailed with the PDF attached, at 08:00 in your workspace’s timezone. A short summary sits in the email itself.

Weekly or monthly
Weekly reports cover the previous seven days. Monthly reports cover the previous calendar month.
The right people, the right sections
Up to 10 recipients per schedule, with the sections that matter to them. Add several schedules to one project.
Stay in control
Edit, pause or delete a schedule, see when it last went out and when it goes next, or send it now.

Client access

Give clients a link, not a login.

Turn on a read-only client link for a project. Anyone with the link sees that project’s report, nothing else, and can switch between the last 7, 30 and 90 days.

Always current
The link rebuilds the report from current data each time it is opened.
Revoke at any time
Turn the link off, or create a new one to replace it. Links don’t expire on their own.
A view-only client role
Prefer logins? Invite clients as view-only members who see only the projects you assign and can’t change anything.

Alerts

Hear about the changes that matter.

Set rules per project and Serpify checks them after each relevant data run: daily rank checks, weekly AI answers, readiness checks and Business Profile updates.

Rankings

  • A ranking drops by the number of positions you set
  • A keyword enters the top 1, 3, 10 or 20
  • A keyword leaves the top 1, 3, 10 or 20
  • Two of your pages start competing for a keyword

Google AI Overviews

  • Your site is newly cited
  • Your site is no longer cited, or the AI Overview disappeared
  • A competitor is newly cited where you are not

AI assistants

  • An engine’s weekly mention rate falls by the points you set

AI readiness

  • An AI search crawler is newly blocked in robots.txt
  • The readiness score falls by the points you set

Google Business Profile

  • Your Google rating drops

Rules you control.

Thresholds and switches
Set the positions, top-N or points for each rule, and turn rules on or off.
Focus on a tag
Limit ranking and AI Overview rules to a keyword tag.
Choose who hears
Email up to 10 recipients per rule, post to Slack, or both. Start from recommended defaults in one click.

Delivery

One digest per project, where your team works.

Alerts are gathered into a digest for each project and sent shortly after Serpify processes new data, about ten minutes after the triggering results arrive.

Email
A digest to the rule’s recipients, or to the workspace’s owners and admins.
Slack
Connect a Slack incoming webhook once, then choose Slack on any rule.
In the app
Every alert stays in the alert history, filterable by project and type.

Webhooks, API and MCP

Send alerts and reports into your own tools.

Every alert can go to your own endpoint as a signed webhook, and reports and alert history are available through the API.

Placeholder illustration of a webhook endpoint with the alert.triggered event, a signing secret and recent deliveries, showing sample data only.

Signed webhooks
Each alert is sent to your endpoints with an HMAC-SHA256 signature. Failed deliveries are retried up to six attempts, recent deliveries are listed, and an endpoint that keeps failing is switched off.
REST hooks
Subscribe and unsubscribe endpoints through the API, with sample payloads, for Zapier-style automation tools.
API
List and download stored reports, read alert history, and read the project data reports are built from.
MCP and exports
Read alert history and project data from an AI assistant through MCP. Export keywords to CSV or Excel and AI sources to CSV.

Reading a report

Know what each number represents.

Not every section covers the same dates. Here is what each one shows, so you can explain the numbers clearly.

Summary and visibility trend
The report period: change from its first day to its last.
Biggest movers and keyword table
Position at the end of the period, compared with the last check before it.
Ranking distribution
Your latest positions.
Competitors
The latest check.
AI assistants
Headline rates from the latest answers; the trend covers a fixed 12 weeks.
Search and AI traffic
The report period, up to the latest date Google has reported, compared with the period before.

FAQ

Reports & Alerts, answered.

What can I include in a Serpify report?
Up to ten sections: summary, rankings, AI Overviews, AI assistants, Search and AI traffic, Google Maps and Business Profile, competitors, AI search readiness, keyword cannibalization and a keyword table. Each schedule chooses which sections to include, and sections without data leave themselves out.
Can reports be scheduled?
Yes. Weekly reports cover the previous seven days and monthly reports cover the previous calendar month. They go out at 08:00 in your workspace’s timezone to up to 10 recipients per schedule, with the PDF attached. You can also send a schedule now, or pause, edit or delete it.
Can I put my agency branding on reports?
Yes. Add your agency name, logo (PNG or JPG), accent colour and footer once for the workspace. They appear on PDF reports, client links and report emails, and Serpify’s name doesn’t appear in the report itself.
Are reports fully white-label?
Reports, report emails and client links carry your branding. The wider product is not fully white-labelled: alert emails and Slack messages come from Serpify, report emails are sent from Serpify’s email address under your agency’s name, and client members log in to the Serpify app.
Can clients access reports without logging in?
Yes. Turn on a read-only client link for a project. Anyone with the link can view that project’s report and switch between the last 7, 30 and 90 days. You can turn it off or replace it at any time. Clients can also be invited as view-only members who see only the projects you assign.
What alerts does Serpify support?
Ranking drops, keywords entering or leaving the top 1, 3, 10 or 20, new keyword cannibalization, your site newly cited or no longer cited in a Google AI Overview, a competitor newly cited where you are not, a weekly drop in an AI assistant’s mention rate, an AI search crawler newly blocked, an AI readiness score drop and a Google rating drop.
Are alerts real-time?
No. Alerts are checked after each relevant data run, such as the daily rank check or the weekly AI answers, and sent as a digest for each project about ten minutes after the triggering data arrives.
Can alerts go to Slack?
Yes. Connect a Slack incoming webhook for the workspace, then choose Slack, email or both on each alert rule.
Does Serpify support webhooks?
Yes. Every alert is sent to your webhook endpoints with an HMAC-SHA256 signature, failed deliveries are retried, and recent deliveries are listed in settings. REST hooks let Zapier-style automation tools subscribe through the API.
Can I create custom reports?
Reports use a fixed template. You choose which of the ten sections each schedule includes and the period for previews and downloads (7, 30 or 90 days), but you can’t add your own sections, titles or charts.
How long are reports stored?
Generated PDFs are kept for 180 days as they were created, and the latest 20 are listed for each project. Client links don’t store a copy: they show the report built from current data.

Report on search and AI visibility without the busywork.

Brand your reports once, schedule them, share a client link and let alerts tell you when something changes.
